Patricia Nolz
Austrian mezzo-soprano Patricia Nolz studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and is a prizewinner of numerous competitions. In 2019, she received the Anny Felbermayer Scholarship, and in the 2023/24 season she was presented as a Great Talent of the Wiener Konzerthaus.
In 2020, she made her debut as Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Theater an der Wien. Following two years in the Vienna State Opera’s Opera Studio, where she enjoyed early successes as Cherubino and Zerlina (Don Giovanni), she was a member of the company’s ensemble from 2022 to 2026.
Further important engagements have included Cherubino at the Komische Oper Berlin and the Edinburgh Festival, Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at the Royal Danish Opera, Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel) at the Opéra National du Rhin, and Octavian (Der Rosenkavalier) at the Berlin State Opera under Christian Thielemann.
In the 2026/27 season, her engagements include Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus) at the Vienna State Opera, Nicklausse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) at the Berlin State Opera, Enfant (L’enfant et les sortilèges) at the Hamburg State Opera, Dorabella (Così fan tutte) at Salzburg Mozart Week, and Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
