Rinaldo Venuti

Italian dancer Rinaldo Venuti trained at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera from 2012 to 2014, among others. His most important teachers include Bella Rachinskaya, Alejandro Parente, Carlos Lopez and Kate Lydon. This was followed by engagements with the American Ballet Theatre Studio Company, the Polish National Ballet and, from 2021, the ballet of the Teatro alla Scala. He joined the Vienna State Ballet as a demi-soloist for the 2025/26 season.

His repertoire includes several solo roles such as Des Grieux and Gaston in John Neumeierʼs The Lady of the Camellias, Mercutio in Kenneth MacMillanʼs Romeo and Juliet, Bratfish in MacMillanʼs Mayerling, Lanquedem and Birbanto in Manuel Legrisʼ Le Corsaire, Prince and The Nutcracker in Wayne Eaglingʼs The Nutcracker and the Mouse King as well as Bluebird, Cinderellaʼs Prince and Carabosse in Yuri Grigorovichʼs Sleeping Beauty. Moreover, he danced in works by George Balanchine, David Dawson, William Forsythe, Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Wayne McGregor, Krzysztof Pastor, Alexei Ratmansky, Jerome Robbins and Liam Scarlett, among others. 

He has also performed in ballet galas around the world, including in Luxembourg, Miami, New York, Warsaw and Vienna, as well as at the Dance Open Festival in St. Petersburg.
