Elsa Dreisig
Elsa Dreisig has quickly established herself as one of the most fascinating lyric sopranos of her generation. In 2015, she joined the Opera Studio of the Staatsoper Berlin and subsequently became a member of the company’s ensemble. Since then, she has made role debuts at leading European opera houses, including those in Paris, Zurich, Vienna and London.
An exclusive Erato artist, she released her third album, Mozart x 3, in 2022, featuring arias from Mozart’s Da Ponte operas and three of his opera seria works.
Following her return to the Salzburg Festival as Fiordiligi, her 2026/27 season includes Contessa d’Almaviva at the Vienna State Opera and Teatro Real, Mimì (La Bohème) at the Staatsoper Berlin and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. She will also make her role debut as Elettra in a new production of Idomeneo at the Paris Opéra.
Highlights of her career to date include regular successes at the Bavarian State Opera and Staatsoper Berlin, at the Salzburg and Aix-en-Provence Festivals, and at the Teatro Real in Madrid. Most recently, she has appeared as Fiordiligi at La Scala in Milan, Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at the Staatsoper Berlin, Louise at the Opéra de Lyon and Mimì at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.
