Sébastien Urban Vidal
Sébastien Urban Vidal was born in France. In 2025, he graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, after studying at the Pôle National Supérieur de Danse Rosella Hightower. He participated twice in the Prix de Lausanne, in 2024 as a junior and in 2025 as a senior. At YAGP Paris 2025, he won the 1st prize in the senior category. He was trained by renowned dancers such as Gil Isoart, Monique Loudières, Andrey Klemm and Laurent Novis. He also attended intensive courses at the Paris Opera Ballet and the Bavarian State Ballet, as well as workshops with the San Francisco Ballet School and the Dutch National Ballet Academy. He has danced in works by Jiří Kylián, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Pierre Lacotte, José Martínez and Christopher Wheeldon. He is also the recipient of an Adami scholarship.
Since the 2025/26 season, Sébastien Urban Vidal has been a member of the Youth Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera.
