Riccardo Fassi
Riccardo Fassi is one of the leading singers of his generation. He began his artistic career as Masetto in Don Giovanni at the Teatro Sociale in Como. Since then, he has made debuts at renowned international theatres with a repertoire ranging from Mozart to Verdi.
He has appeared at leading opera houses and festivals including the Vienna State Opera, La Scala in Milan, the Paris Opéra, Staatsoper Unter den Linden, the Royal Opera House in London, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro La Fenice, the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Maggio Musicale in Florence and the Arena di Verona.
His upcoming engagements in the 2026/27 season include the King (Aida) at the Liceu in Barcelona, Frère Laurent (Roméo et Juliette) at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, Colline (La Bohème) at La Scala in Milan and Sparafucile (Rigoletto) at the Bavarian State Opera.
He made his Vienna State Opera debut in 2016 as Pistola (Falstaff) and has since also appeared there as Banquo (Macbeth) and in the title role of Le nozze di Figaro.
