Jonathan Tetelman

Jonathan Tetelman has quickly established himself as one of the leading tenors of his generation. He regularly appears at major international opera houses, including the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Bavarian State Opera and many others. He also collaborates with leading orchestras, including the Orchestra dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has recorded two award-winning solo albums for Deutsche Grammophon: Arias and The Great Puccini.

Recent engagements include Samson (Samson et Dalila) at the Berlin State Opera, Don José (Carmen) at the Salzburg Festival, Werther in Zurich, Loris Ipanov (Fedora) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Cavaradossi in Rome, Warsaw and Bucharest, and the title role in Gounod’s Faust at the Bavarian State Opera.

His current plans include Radames (Aida) in Houston, as well as the Duke (Rigoletto) and Werther at the Bavarian State Opera. He made his Vienna State Opera debut in 2025 as Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana).
