Jessica Pratt

The multiple award-winning Jessica Pratt was born in Bristol, England, and studied voice in Australia as well as with Renata Scotto and Gianluigi Gelmetti in Rome.

Praised by The New York Times as a soprano possessing “radiant tone, free and effortless high notes, agile coloratura runs and lyrical grace,” she performs worldwide in roles including Elvira (I puritani), Amina (La sonnambula), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Olympia, Giulietta and Antonia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Gilda (Rigoletto), Eudoxie (La Juive), Desdemona (Otello), Violetta Valéry (La traviata), Cunegonde (Candide), as well as the title roles in Lucia di Lammermoor and Norma.

She has appeared at major opera houses and festivals including Deutsche Oper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper, Hamburg State Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, the Vienna State Opera, La Scala in Milan, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro.

She made her debut at the Vienna State Opera in 2008.
