Adrian Autard

Tenor Adrian Autard was born in France. After studying violin and voice at the conservatories of Avignon and Marseille, he began vocal studies in 2019 at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) in the class of Prof. KS Linda Watson, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in solo singing. He subsequently continued his studies at MUK, completing his Master’s degree.

Since 2022, he has appeared as a guest at various festivals and opera houses. His roles include Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Remendado (Carmen), and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). In the 2023/2024 season, he appeared at the MusikTheater an der Wien as Contino Belfiore (La finta giardiniera) and Benvolio (Roméo et Juliette).

He is a prizewinner of the 6th Concours Opéra Jeunes Espoirs Raymond Duffaut, where he received the award for Best Interpretation of the French Repertoire, and the recipient of the KS Gabriele Sima Scholarship in 2022. He has also participated in masterclasses with KS Michael Schade, Ian Bostridge, and Francisco Araiza, among others.

Since the 2024/25 season, Adrian Autard has been a member of the Opera Studio of the Vienna State Opera. There, he has already appeared as Erik in the children’s opera Das verfluchte Geisterschiff, as Eurimaco in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, and as the First Priest in Die Zauberflöte.

In the 2025/26 season, he receives a scholarship from OMV, the Vienna State Opera’s Future Partner.
