Persons with a degree of disability of 50% or more receive a 50% discount on the purchase of tickets on presentation of their disability pass. This applies to all performances on regular sale.
To book discounted tickets online, a one-time registration via our order office is required. Please send a copy of your disabled pass to tickets@wiener-staatsoper.at.
Once you have registered, you can also purchase discounted tickets in our online ticket store. If an accompanying person is noted on your disabled pass, you can also book a ticket with a 50% discount for them. The discount cannot be booked by telephone via our credit card hotline. Please contact the order office directly for all matters.

Our Wheelchair space offer gives a discount to people in wheelchairs.
Wheelchair or companion seats cost between €4 and €6 depending on the performance.
As we only have a limited number of wheelchair spaces available, these must be booked via our Ticket shop or our order office. If you would like to reserve a wheelchair space with us for the first time, you must first register with our order office.

With the Ballet Bonus, you receive a 15% discount on all full-price tickets for ballet performances at the Vienna State Opera and the Volksoper (excluding premieres and special events).
The offer is limited to a maximum of 2 tickets per performance. Tickets can be purchased via our ticket store and at all Bundestheater box offices.
The ballet bonus is available for € 30 per season at all Bundestheater box offices.
What is the BundestheaterCard?
The BundestheaterCard is a free customer card for guests of the Austrian Federal Theaters (Vienna State Opera, Volksoper Wien, Burg- und Akademietheater, Kasino am Schwarzenbergplatz, Vestibül).
What does the Bundestheater Card enable?
With the Bundestheater Card you can enjoy several advantages at the Vienna State Opera.
For selected performances you receive a 20% discount on normal price tickets. The performances concerned are marked "BT-Card" in the calendar.
Dates are published online on an ongoing basis, but always before the respective sales start of the month. BT-Card dates for the months of September and October will be published at the end of June.
Tickets for last-minute bookings are available for €55, 2 tickets each at the box office, one day before the performance. You can find out whether tickets for last-minute bookings are available for a performance by calling +43 1 514 44 2950 or via our WhatsApp channel.

The BundestheaterCard can be applied for in person at the box offices of the Austrian Federal Theatres during our opening hours, by e-mail to tickets@bundestheater.at or by post. Please bring or send the completed application form with you.

As an Ö1 Club member, you receive 10% off selected events.
Send a picture of your Ö1 card to tickets@wiener-staatsoper.at or show your Ö1 card at the box office. The Ö1 discount will then be saved in your account and you can select it in the ticket store when choosing your seat.

With the Culture Pass "Hungry for Art & Culture", up to four standing room tickets are issued free of charge at our standing room box office from 60 minutes before the start of the performance.
The Culture Pass is valid for one adult person.
If the Culture Pass is used by one person and one child up to their 10th birthday, two tickets will be issued subject to availability.
Please note that the minimum age for standing room is 5 years.
