About the Event
Young designers from KunstModeDesign Herbststraße present their latest collections on the Feststiege and in the state rooms of the Vienna State Opera. Inspired by Bizet's opera Les Pêcheurs de perles , they translate the music, characters and central motifs of the work into independent, contemporary fashion designs.
The presentation is embedded in a special fashion event that combines orchestral music and live electronics. The stage orchestra of the Vienna State Opera and live electronics by Max Liebich will provide the musical accompaniment.
Afterwards, the opera's state rooms will be transformed into a club: clubbing in a historical setting, complemented by a secret bar with a jazz quartet, will allow the State Opera to be experienced in a new atmosphere - between classical architecture, electronic sounds and contemporary fashion culture.
